Mirage told her daughter that "if she ever had a reason to fight, I wouldn't stand in her way". She later had a daughter with the same nickname to an unknown person that she passed down her sniping skills as she was teaching her during peacetime. They both know that they will never see each other again. After Jigen saying that the feeling is mutual, they both hugged each other. Mirage claims that she got this far because she has not gone up against Jigen and relieved that she did not have to fight him. He knows that the sniper rifle looked heavy and wanted to take it off her hands however Mirage refused and shook her head. Jigen says that he has not protected anyone outside of himself before and she shook her head. She thanked him but says that she'll be okay and thinks that she'll be stronger knowing that she's fighting for someone else's sake. Outside of the refugee camp, Mirage tells Jigen that she has a new fight and he wondered whether she could manage. Zylberstein calls her more attractive than Fujiko Mine. When the civil war ended, she became a hired gun and was hired by Zylberstein when she first started for a few jobs. Zylberstein compared her to her father who was skilled and she grew up to be superlative sniper feared by friends and enemies alike. The refugee camp that she stayed at was attacked by vicious insurgent guerrillas and she picked up a sniper rifle from a dead French soldier who had been protecting the camp. Zylberstein explains to Lupin III that she became a civil war refugee after her parents were killed in front of her. According to Jigen, she has a crack shot where if not taken seriously, a person will end up with a hole in the head. Mirage was a sniper and a mercenary who fought with Jigen side by side a few times. Alive Mirage (mother) is a character from Lupin the Third Part 5 and was one of Daisuke Jigen's loves.
